Client Services Manager
Responsibilities:
Client project/program manager provides customer service and project management for client laboratory projects. Prepare price quotations, set schedules, coordinate field and lab work. Enter and edit work orders, monitor progress of lab projects, review and manage commercial terms of project. Review and deliver final project reports and assist with sales activities. Provide basic technical consultations to clients. Strong client service acumen and professional appearance/behavior required. Advanced proficiency in computerized LIMS systems and knowledge/skills in accounting/office management practices.
Requirements
- H.S. diploma, AA or BS preferred.
- Client service, sales, project management experience.
- Strong math/science aptitude.
- Some knowledge of chemistry and biology.
- 5-10 years experience.
Organic Chemist
Responsibilities:
Senior staff chemist responsible for analyses on water, soils and air for VOCs and SVOCs using extraction, digestion, leaching preparation methods and advanced GC/MC analytical skills. Proficiency in EPA methods 8260, 8270, 624/625 and 524/525 plus pesticides, HAA5 and others. Rigorous qa/qc skills required and ability to calibrate, tune, troubleshoot and maintain Agilent and related equipment. Back-up analyses for other lab tests including ICS, ICP, titrations, gravametric methods and microbiology. Ability to follow and assist with writing SOP’s following NELAC and related standards.
Requirements:
- B.S. Chemistry (M.S. desirable) 5-10 years experience.
Staff Chemist or Lab Technician
Responsibilities:
Staff chemist or technician responsible for testing of environmental and chemical samples including drinking water, wastewater and soils/solids using EPA, Standard Methods, and ASTM methods including colorimetric methods, titrations, ion chromatography, spectrophotometric, and gravimetric methods. Microbiological analyses using industry standard kits and methods. Rigorous quality control is required and an understanding of GLP rules and requirements is a plus. We prefer an individual with experience in lab work. Technician position requires general lab duties such as glassware washing and sample prep. Chemist positions require ability to write and follow SOP’s and leadership abilities. All positions require use of computerized Laboratory Information Management Systems.
Requirements:
- B.S. Chemistry/Biochemistry/Microbiology for Chemist/Analyst positions.
- H.S. or AA in related science for Technician positions.
Field Technician
Responsibilities:
Technical and driver position responsible for sample kits, pick-up & delivery, collecting field samples including water, soil, and waste. Field sampling will include grab and composite sampling of industrial, municipal, and private water systems – using basic and advanced equipment and test instruments. Candidate will also perform elementary laboratory analyses in house and in the field. Support overall operations including sample intake, stocking, equipment rental, cleanups and related duties. Strong client service acumen and professional appearance required.
Requirements:
- H.S. diploma, math/science aptitude;
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
